Mortgage rates could see some upward pressure today. Futures are pointing to another strong opening and Federal Reserve (FOMC) statements Wednesday jumped the yield on the 10 year treasury. The rest of the week is filled with economic data and earnings reports. So, look for some volatility on individual reports, but the trend line is still likely to hold mortgage rates low and steady, with some daily upward pressures.
