Mortgage rates stayed flat through Monday and Tuesday following the volatility of the Stock Market intra-day, but falling even at the end of the day. Today, with the release of CPI, there is likely to be significant impact to mortgage rates. If there is any indication that inflation is the least bit out of control (moving up) there will be an abrupt correction in mortgage rates, upward.
