rate update: 2008-03-19: Bonds Up Rates Down to Neutral

Bonds were up this morning but have given back most of the early gains at this point today. Rates should improve about 25 basis points over yesterday. There was no economic news released today. Tomorrow we'll get the Leading Economic Indicators report for February from the Conference Board, a report which attempts to predict upcoming economic activity. Tomorrow, the market closes early and is closed on Friday for the Good Friday Holiday.
