David Coster has been a consumer educator and advocate in the mortgage and broader financial services industry for 16 years. David has developed consumer financial education programs for such firms as Capital Investment Companies, mortgage.com, Well Fargo Home Mortgage and American Home Mortgage. He founded both the Financial Consultant Mortgage Network and the Home Asset Advisor Academy. His goal is to take financial information and jargon, and translate it, making it understandable and, most importantly, useful by consumers.

Kirk Haverkamp is an award-winning reporter and editor with almost 20 years' experience in journalism and corporate communications. As chief staff writer and editor for MortgageLoan.com, he covers the mortgage and personal finance industry from both a consumer and industry perspective, as well as providing thoughtful guidance for consumers on how to approach the sometimes intimidating process of obtaining the best mortgage and personal finance products to meet their needs.

Barbara Eisner Bayer has written about personal finance and investing for the past 13 years. Her work has appeared on the Motley Fool, Mortgageloan.com and many other quality publications. Her articles encompass everything from the educational to the analytical, and always aim to educate and amuse. A graduate of Columbia University's Barnard College, Barbara has produced editorial content for a veritable who's who of financial giants, including Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Prudential, The Hartford, and Oppenheimer Funds. As a writing coach and editor, she has helped create four books on financial planning and entrepreneurialism.

JR Hevron JR Hevron is a writer, editor, educator, and content creator with over thirteen years of experience as a senior editor and writer at consumer magazines. JR lives with his family in Park Slope, Brooklyn and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Catherine Brock is a writer whose financial background includes experience as a commercial finance analyst for one of California's largest banks. In this role, Catherine analyzed historical financial statements, projected future financial performance and compiled industry, management, and financial analyses.
