The G-I Loan for Heroes offers low cost homeownership financing for both veterans and servicemen and women on active duty. A first mortgage of up to 80% financing is given, with a second mortgage loan of up to 15% financing. Borrowers must make a minimum 5% downpayment on the home to be purchased.
